The DHO or the Detroit Opera House as you, and I might call it is nearing the end of another successful year; and while other Opera halls in the country are closing their doors the Detroit Opera House shows no signs of slowing down. The Stretch of recent years has not been as equally kind to other opera houses in the country. Recently opera companies in Baltimore; Hartford, Connecticut, Santa in California,and Orlando Florida have shut down. In October of 2013 a rather unique approach to keep the doors of the New York City opera open using a crowd source funding web site named kickstarter was put in to motion by management. Kickstater uses the funds of individuals who are interested in donating their own money to fund projects of many sizes all over the world.
